  25. CompuServe's Software Registration system before January 15, 1996,
  26. you can save over twenty percent (20%) off the regular single copy
  27. price.

  44. SPECIAL "COMPETITIVE" UPGRADE DISCOUNT

  47. To encourage users to make the switch from competitive products,
  48. whether DOS or Windows versions, purchasers who indicate that they
  49. are upgrading from a competitive product and the name of that
  50. product, in response to the question appearing on the FlashPoint
  51. order form, will be given an additional ten percent (10%) discount
  52. off the total license fees.

  54. This ten percent (10%) applies only to the "license fees" and not
  55. any additional charges, such as media costs or sales taxes.  
  56. Furthermore, it applies only to direct orders from FlashPoint 
  57. Development, and not to any orders placed through third-parties,
  58. e.g., CompuServe Online Registration Service.

  60. The discount amount is calculated, for both Individual Use (Per Copy)
  61. and Multiple Use (Site) licenses, by multiplying the percentage
  62. discount times the applicable license fee (after allowing for any
  63. applicable quantity discounts), and placing same in the appropriate
  64. blocks of the official FlashPoint order forms.  The "Less Discount"
  65. blank on the order form must be completed by inserting the word
  66. "COMPETITIVE" and the ten percent (10%) discount and amount in the
  67. blank spaces provided.

  69. Please note that we do not require proof of registration of a
  70. competing product -- we trust our users, after all that is what
  71. shareware is all about.  We do, however, require that the user
  72. comply fully with the above instructions on completing the official
  73. order form, in order to qualify for this discount.

  75. No discounts will be allowed if the official order form is not fully
  76. completed and returned to FlashPoint.

  78. This discount applies only to orders physically "received" by
  79. March 1, 1996, and prior to sale of the first one-hundred thousand
  80. (100,000) copies (which shall include each individual or multiple
  81. use copy licensed) sold subsequent to the official release date of
  82. this version of the product.  You will be notified by return mail if
  83. your order was not timely received.

  91. and licensing, together with order forms, can be found in the
  92. product Users' Guide, which is formatted for viewing and printing
  93. with either Windows95 WordPad or Windows Write, and in the online
  94. help file, which provides a simple means of printing a formatted
  95. order form directly from within the help file.  Just fill in the
  96. discount line as instructed above, if you register before any
  97. applicable deadline.

  101. TOTAL SPECIAL DISCOUNTS PERMITTED

  104. The aggregate total of all "special" discounts may not exceed thirty 
  105. percent (30%) of the total license fees due.  Therefore, you are
  106. permitted to take any available discounts, but you may not take any
  107. additional "special" discounts, which may be from time to time
  108. offered by FlashPoint.

  110. "Special" discounts do not include the "Quantity" discounts provided
  111. for in the documentation and online help file.
